Last Saturday...bout 8pm..me..her indoors..and grandchild were returning home after quaffing a few pints in local club..on our way home I found a purse in the gutter with credit cards etc strewn around..On arrival at home (After sorting Granddaughter out) I took to FB....to try and locate the loser..no such luck..the owner had a driving licence in her purse..lives in Crewe..I rang 101..the tool on the other end tells ME....we are not a message service..After putting her straight in the law of lost property etc...she apologised...told her not to bother..sent loser a letter...1st class explaining my find ..today the lady drove up from Crewe to pick her purse up..obviously she had cancelled all her cards etc ..she had been seeing a relative nearby and put her purse on the roof of her car !!!..and lost it. !! My good deed of the day
